White Oak 1 Residence

The family who lives here had their original home destroyed by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. They loved the location, the shade trees, the wilderness of the gully next to their property, so there was no question they were going to rebuild. What we created with them was a lovely coastal craftsman home that sits about six feet above grade and fully embraces the wooded surroundings. Walls of windows bring in soft light protected by massive roof overhangs and give this family that "tree house" feeling whenever they are home. We happen to think that's pretty great.
